Kerrie Canning

Kerrie is a co-founder of HR Advice Online.  As an experienced Human Resources and Organisational Development professional, Kerrie brings over 20 years experience working both within organisations and as an external consultant on cultural change, leadership development, recruitment and selection and coaching. Her experience includes professional services, local government, publishing, printing and financial services.

She has been a member of executive leadership teams in Australia and the Asia Pacific within organisations that have been recognised for innovative employer of choice initiatives and she is passionate about enabling businesses to succeed.

Kerrie sees HR Advice Online as an accessible way for small and medium business to gain the type of advice normally reserved for large corporates, which makes it an incredibly powerful tool for business growth and success.

In her balance of work and life you'll find Kerrie on a golf course somewhere around the world, cheering on her horses at a racetrack or enjoying the beautiful surrounds and wines of the Mornington Peninsula where she lives with her husband Rob. 

Sally Garner

Sally GarnerSally joined as a Co-owner and partner in 2020.  Sally has over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on Recruitment Services and Leadership.  Sally's expertise spans across industries including Healthcare, government, finance, education, and small to medium enterprises.

Sally has focused on creating cultures of collaboration, coaching and mentoring, whilst supporting managers in leadership and change.
With experience both as an internal Leader and an external consultant & Manager, she is passionate about proactive recruitment practices, the development of specialised talent communities and utilising technology and automation to gain the best advantage.
Sally’s success lies in her ability to align people, processes and systems that drive strong business results. She has built highly successful and talented teams and has a key focus on supporting and developing them to reach their optimum.
When not at work, you'll find Sally skiing any mountain in the world where there is snow on the ground and enjoying her home and surrounds on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula with her husband Mark.

Claire Beard

Claire BeardClaire has over 20 years’ experience working in Human Resources and Company Leadership roles across both local and multinational organisations, in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, engineering, not-for-profit, and financial services.

Claire has extensive knowledge working in unionised service delivery environments and providing multi-faceted HR/IR Support including EBA and Award interpretation, industrial relations, recruitment and selection, performance management, WorkCover and return to work, grievance management, policy reviews and implementations, strategic planning, organisational development, OHS and payroll.
As a HR Advisor, Claire loves working with our clients providing quality advice, delivery of training programs, webinars and onsite support. Claire is an accredited mediator and works with our clients to facilitate effective outcomes through best practice mediation, coaching and support.
Outside of work, Claire spends much of her time supporting her children’s sporting interests, or enjoying time and wine, with family and friends.

Alisha Grant

Courtney Symons

Alisha has over 12 years’ experience delivering Human Resources requirements, predominately within of the Real Estate Industry, Franchise Operations as well as the unionised Health Care System.

Alisha has delivered HR/IR Support to Directors, Managers, Teams, and Individuals including human resources planning, organisational development, learning and development, compliance management, change management EBA and Award interpretation, Industrial relations, recruitment and selection, performance management, grievance management policy reviews and implementations.

As a HR advisor, Alisha loves working with business owners to deliver positive outcomes across all the functions of Human Resources.

Outside of work, Alisha loves spending time with family and friends. Enjoys being social and getting out and about as much as possible with her young family.
